Simone has been in the horse industry for over 45 years. Starting at ther age of three in Palos Verdes, California, Simone progressed through the local show system to the "AA" show circuit becoming one of the top ranked juniors in the mid 1980's along with fellow top ranked juniors Candice Schlom King and Meridith Michaels Beerbaum in California. Simone's first Grand prix was at the age of 14 and continues to this day. After her junior years and Grand Prix's she traveled to Europe to bring along young jumpers and import them to the United States. Although her passion is to import and work with young jumpers she also loves to nurture the young riders in this sport. The future of our next Olympic athletes in Show Jumping starts at the local level.
Erin Lane is a young professional with lofty goals in the jumper and hunter rings, including aspirations of competing at the 5* level. Erin grew up riding with Nicole Cobb, competing in the hunter, jumper, and equitation rings, including competing in the big eq and regional grand prixs as a junior. As a long-time working student throughout the entirety of her junior career, she learned the value of hands-on horsemanship, and is well-versed in all aspects of horse management. After moving to Southern California at age 20, Erin rode and trained with Jasmin Stair at Jasmin Stair Stables in Rancho Santa Fe, CA while also teaching polo and managing the polo school program at the San Diego Polo Club. After returning to Central Oregon in 2019, she has since found a permanent equestrian home at Starnes Equestrian under the tutelage of her mentor.
